NCServes-Coastal recognizes a need for transportation services for veterans and service members who are unable to drive or do not have access to reliable transportation. In order to address this issue, NCServes-Coastal maintains a network of volunteers and sponsors that provide transportation for veterans and service members with an essential need; including but not limited to: medical appointments and other trips of high importance. The network assists veterans and service members in overcoming barriers by connecting them to resources that may offer vouchers for public transportation and/or gas cards.
